Novus Rehabilitation

Covid-19 Update

Novus Rehabilitation continues to monitor and follow the Ontario Ministry of Health directives and the local Health Unit advisories set out to ensure the safety of our clients, their families, and our staff. We also rely on the direction of the professional colleges that regulate the practices of many of our providers.

The majority of our care is provided in your environment, whether that be your home, community, school, workplace etc. Before completing face-to-face visits, our therapists will now discuss with you the benefits and risks of face-to-face visits vs. virtual (telephone or video) visits. If you proceed with virtual visits, we can assure you that our video platform is secure and meets privacy requirements for healthcare. If you proceed with face-to-face visits, things will look a little different.

We are excited to again offer face-to-face rehabilitation services.

To ensure your safety, and the safety of our staff, things during our appointment will look a little different than you are used to. Thank you for your understanding.

We will be completing pre-screening assessments prior to our visits to monitor ourselves and our clients for symptoms or exposure to COVID.

Please maintain a distance of 2m when possible. Please limit the number of people in the treatment area during our visit.

If you have a mask available during our visit, please wear it.

You will be required to wash or sanitize your hands before and after our appointment, and our staff will do the same. We will be thoroughly cleaning tools and materials between clients.

Your provider will be wearing a mask and may be wearing a face shield during your appointment.

If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. You may schedule a virtual visit or reschedule your in-person appointment for a later date when you are feeling better.

If you develop symptoms of COVID or are exposed to someone who has COVID, please contact your therapist to let them know.
